Do you want to understand the crazy forces churning in Holden Caulfield's mind? Maybe you've wondered what The Great Gatsby is really saying about America. Or, perhaps you're simply tired of beating books to death with the same literary elements, over and over again.

Literary criticism can be pretty cool sometimes. So, aside from enriching you, aside from granting you insight into your favorite novels so you can write better papers (which equal better grades), aside from providing you with resources to succeed, we'd like to help you enjoy literature.

See those "[blank] criticism" links? Each one will provide you with two things. First, a brief video conveying the basics of that school of literary criticism, helpful vocabulary, and advice for its application. Then, you can find a number of videos applying that criticism to novels regularly featured in the high school literary canon.

We're only just getting started, so keep checking back for more!
